Our Young Toddler Group is designed for children who are gaining independence, exploring their world, and learning how to express themselves. At wee care day care, we provide a safe and loving environment where toddlers can learn through active play, guided discovery, and gentle structure.
Safe Exploration: Young toddlers are curious by nature. Our classroom is designed to be fully toddler-safe, with age-appropriate toys, materials, and furniture that encourage exploration and creativity.
Language & Communication: This stage is full of big developmental leaps in language. We support vocabulary growth through songs, stories, labeling, and conversations. We also introduce simple sign language to help children express needs while developing verbal skills.
Routine & Structure: Toddlers thrive on predictable routines. We follow a consistent daily schedule that includes meals, circle time, indoor and outdoor play, art, music, and nap time. This helps children feel secure and begin to understand transitions.
Social Development: Sharing, turn-taking, and parallel play are gently encouraged in this age group. We focus on helping toddlers begin to form relationships with peers and express their feelings in positive ways.
Fine & Gross Motor Skills: Whether it’s stacking blocks, scribbling with crayons, dancing to music, or climbing outdoor play structures, our program helps toddlers develop their muscles and coordination through active play.
Potty Readiness Support: When your child begins showing signs of potty training readiness, we’ll work with you to provide consistent support both at home and at daycare.
Nurturing Environment: Our caregivers build close, loving relationships with each child, helping them feel safe, confident, and encouraged as they develop their sense of self.
